ICCCI 2011 - The 3rd International Conference on Computational Collective Intelligence - Technologies and Applications

The ICCCI 2011 conference is over!

Thank you to everyone involved!  We hope you enjoyed it and keep in touch with the people you met here.

At the conference two Best Papers were awarded:
  • Best Regular Paper: Krawiec, Krzysztof; Nawrocki, Mateusz: Evolutionary Tuning of Compound Image Analysis Systems for Effective License Plate Recognition
  • Best Student Paper: Jaffry, S. Waqar; Treur, Jan: Modelling Trust for Communicating Agents: Agent-Based and Population-Based Perspectives

Congratulations!

All conference papers were published in Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence series by Springer-Verlag.

The next ICCCI conference (ICCCI 2012)  will be held will on 28-30 November, 2012 in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam. We invite you all to take part in it!

But before you go to ICCCI 2012 website, please  take a look at the ICCCI 2011 photo gallery.

ICCCI 2011 is an international scientific conference for research in the field of Computational Collective Intelligence (CCI), to be held on 21-23 September, 2011 in Gdynia city, Poland.

Computational Collective Intelligence is most often understood as an AI sub-field dealing with soft computing methods which enable making group decisions or processing knowledge among autonomous units acting in distributed environments. Web-based systems, social networks and multi-agent systems very often need these tools for working out consistent knowledge states, resolving conflicts and making decisions.

The aim of this conference is to provide an internationally respected forum for scientific research in the computer-based methods of collective intelligence and their applications in (but not limited to) such fields as semantic web, social networks and multi-agent systems.

ICCCI 2011 is organized by Gdynia Maritime University and Wrocław University of Technology in Poland. Gdynia Maritime University in which it will take place is located in the port city Gdynia known for its picturesque seashore with marinas, promenades and yacht clubs. However there is more to enjoy nearby, as Gdynia is a part of the Tricity, which also includes a thousand-year-old Gdańsk, Poland’s cultural gem, and Sopot, a health-resort with its beautiful Landscape Park and splendid sandy beaches.

The conference proceedings will be published in Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence series by Springer-Verlag (the publication has already been included in the list of LNCS Forthcoming Proceedings) and indexed by EI, ISI(CPCI-S), Scopus, DBLP, ACM Digital Library.

We are happy to announce that this year ICCCI 2011 has been selected by the Polish AI Society (Polskie Stowarzyszenie Sztucznej Inteligencji - PSSI) as the official PSSI conference for 2011. PSSI warmly invites all its members to submit papers to the conference. Each PSSI member has a 10% discount on conference fee. Moreover, PSSI invites undergraduate, graduate, and PhD students to submit their papers and enter the PSSI Best Student Paper Award contest. We hope to meet you in Gdynia!
